Nokia offered a chance for visitors to discover new opportunities of mobile TV and video. Live broadcast TV was showcased on the new Nokia N92 with a range of local and international channels complete with interactive services. IPTV and Video-on-demand services in cellular and Wi-FI networks and over-the-air rich multimedia content delivery for of?ine consumption via Nokia Media Charger were also demonstrated on the stand.

Juha Lipiainen, Director of Strategy & Business Development, Rich Media Business Unit, Nokia, discussed the solutions available to turn grey time into prime time and explain the commercial possibilities for retailers, operators and content providers.

Mark Fowler, Business Manager Mobile TV (UK & Ireland), introduced the Nokia Shorts, an innovative short film competition which for the past 3 years has been exploring the links between film and mobile technology.

Serge Ferre, VP Strategy at Nokia, hosted an industry panel involving representatives of Canal + and Abertis to discuss learnings from current DVB-H trials and the mobile TV value chain.

Illkka Raiskinen, VP Watch new Experiences, Nokia, participated in a panel to discuss convergence of entertainment and mobility offering consumers access to content anytime, anywhere.
